Peaches Puppy Pages

peaches animated picture

First a little about me.
My name is Peaches as you already know.
I wanted to be called killer or something like that,
but my Mom and Dad picked my name.
My birthday is 3/8/95 and I was born at Harvey's Lake in Dallas, Pa.
I now live in Nanticoke, Pa.

My breed is Pomeranian.
I love to scare other animals and if they are bigger then me,
I love it all the more.
I don't like to bite anyone just scare the daylights out of them.
I guess you could say I'm a ten pound bully.

I wrote these pages to help all of you humans that don't know anything about Puppies learn a little about us.
This isn't everything that you should know about us puppies but it is things that you should know at least a little about.
When I was to my doctor for the first time, he told my mom & dad about having me spayed. This is a good thing if you do not plan to breed us. Keep in mind that females tend to have more tumors if they were not spayed than the females who were spayed.

A Pet's Bill Of Rights
1. We have the right to be full members of your family. We thrive on social interaction, praise, and love.

2. We have the right to stimulation. We need new games, new toys, new experiences, and new smells to be happy.

3. We have the right to regular exercise. Without it, we could become hyper, sluggish, or fat.

4. We have the right to have fun. We enjoy acting like clowns now and then; don't expect us to be predicable all the time.

5. We have the right to receive quality health care. Please stay good friends with our veterinarian.

6. We have the right to receive a good diet. Like some people we don't know what's best for us. We depend on you.

7. We have the right to not be rejected because of your expectations that we be great show animals, watch dogs, hunters, or baby-sitters.

8. We have the right to receive proper training. Otherwise our good relationship could be marred by confusion and strife- and we could become dangerous to ourselves and others.

9. We have the right to receive guidance and correction based on understanding and compassion, rather then abuse.

10. We have the right to live with dignity and to die with dignity when the time comes.

To Adopt or Not?
"From a Dogs View"

It is better for us if you adopt.
You will be saving an anmimals life.
If you didn't know this before, it could be shocking.
I'm going to be blunt and to the point.
An animal in a cage at the shelter is on death row.
Yes, thats right! Death row!
And you humans who are looking for a pet are the GOVERNOR with the pardon.
If no one adopts us within a certain time frame, we must be terminated.
It's a bitter sweet Fact of Life. But it has to be said.
And I'm sorry if I offened anyone with my bluntness.
But there is a reason to the madness.
They have to make room for someone else who might have a better chance for adoption..
The shelters only have so much room and money!
They couldn't possibly keep all the animals that are turned in and not adopted in a year.
That could be me out there if I get lost for one reason or another and retuned to the shelter.
Your adopting me would save my life.
So the next time you are looking for a pet, go to your local animal Shelter first.
There is one near you.

Save an Animals Life, don't waste a second go or call now.

And if you don't find an animal to your liking,
you could always leave a check to help feed and keep them.

Even a dollar would help.
Or bring in a bag of treats with you.

For some it may be the last treat they get

If you went to visit a human in jail, wouldn't you take them candy or cigarettes.

But don't forget to ask if they can have treats.
Some shelters don't allow it.
